Review
The objective of this utility is to offer an easy way for partners and customers to determine how much Backup Exec product has been deployed, and to report back on the number and type of Backup Exec licenses available in a given environment. Please note: BELAT is currently not covered by Technical Support. If there are any issues, please let us know on the forum. For product information and familiarization, please review the BELAT Flash Demo (see below). This tool will help you understand how the utility works, and what to expect.
BELAT is a free, standalone product and does not report back to Symantec or any 3rd party. Running this utility does not constitute a compliance audit - the end user is ultimately responsible for compliance via a manual audit. This tool is for Backup Exec environments only, and is valid for v9.1 and above. |
